We had a great time at Andrew and Philippa's place and hope to visit again in the future. They've built a fantastic new home among acres of land and it's obvious that they have given the project a huge amount of care and attention. Everything is finished to the highest standard with huge windows, delightful underfloor heating and beautiful bathrooms to name but a few. We were privileged to be only their second guests - it was so new I had to unwrap the ironing board! The views are incredible, it's really well equipped and the house is perfectly positioned for local walks, or as a base to travel to Harrogate, York or the Yorkshire Dales. My only wish is that there was a hot tub to sit in while lapping up the fantastic views. I can't recommend it highly enough! - Tom

Just back from a fab four night stay in this house. The house is described as luxurious with a great view and it’s a fitting description. The house is so spacious and fitted out to a very high standard. The whole house is lovely and the bathrooms are amazing. Kitchen is kitted out with everything you would need and more. The heating system in the house is great and the house was very cosy. Not quite the time of year to enjoy the outside space as much as we would have liked but again lots of it with amazing views. As we were there as a family with my 19 month old grandson, it meant we were up far too early in the mornings but on the plus side we loved the views and watching the sunrise. Burton Leonard is a lovely village and if you check out the village shop, the pies are great. We visited the Masons Arms in Bishop Monkton for Sunday dinner which was very nice. The location of the house is great, so quiet and peaceful but within a short drive of Harrogate and Knaresborough and many other attractions. Andrew was a great host and we will hopefully get to return in the future.

Yoredale House is the perfect tranquil and luxury escape in the middle of beautiful countryside. The house has recently been completed to an incredibly high standard and the interior is both cosy and stylish, with lots of space and a huge garden. A main highlight was the beautiful views over to the Yorkshire Moors, and Philippa and Andrew were extremely accommodating. We can’t wait to return!

This beautiful house is highly recommended! Beautifully clean and well furnished, great sized rooms yet a cosy feel, with a lovely hot tub with incredible views. Everything has been thought of resulting in a perfect stay, with a thoughtful welcome pack provided too. Great to know that the hosts are available if required, but not intrusive in any way. Thank you!
